The Best Nightlife in and Around Seattle

You may have heard of Seattle’s bustling nightlife. The city hosts a hodge-podge of speakeasies, hip cocktail bars, intimate concert venues, and dance clubs. If you want to head out for the night and see some of the infamous nightlife, there’s quite a bit to choose from, so we’ve picked out some of our favorites.

Enjoyable Entertainment: The Triple Door, Downtown

Spend your evening in a historic theater right in the heart of downtown. The Triple Door is an intimate venue where you dine at a private table instead of the traditional stadium seating. With a wide range of diverse acts appearing every night, you will always find something to match your tastes. Choose an early seating for a wonderful dining experience, or a later seating to enchant you all night long.

Wine Night: BottleHouse, Madrona Neighborhood

If a relaxing night with local wines and charcuterie platters piques your interest, then Bottlehouse is just the place to be. Located in an old, colonial style house in Seattle’s Madrona Neighborhood, this unique spot specializes in local and boutique wineries creating the very best wines. Enjoy your glass in their garden or in their 1905 craftsman with seasonal rotating cheese and charcuterie.

Getting Active: Garage Billiards & Bowling, Capital Hill

This is no average bowling alley. Step into this 1920’s garage to find a classy bowling center serving craft cocktails and high end snacks. No dusty lanes or greasy food to be found here. This retro spot is a local favorite and open until 2am every day of the week, and there is more than enough to keep you busy while you’re here.

Dinner Show: Teatro Zinzanni, Woodinville

If you want an evening filled with laughter, delight, and amazing food then head to the tent. Teatro Zinzanni isn’t just a circus, or a cabaret, or a vaudeville, but a combination of all three to keep you on the edge of your seat all night. Dine on a gourmet multi-course feast while you watch the show of a lifetime.

Secret Speakeasy: Bathtub Gin & Co, Belltown

Take a trip back into prohibition days with this classy speakeasy in the Belltown district. Wander down a back alley and look for a wooden door, behind which you’ll find a beautiful wood and brick bar. Sit down and let the bartender create a craft cocktail for you or order a rare glass of liquor from their private reserve.

Evening with a View: Mountaineering Club, University District

Head to the rooftop of Graduate Seattle, an upscale hotel near the University of Washington, to find breathtaking views of the city and with seafood entrees and craft cocktails. This up-and-coming bar is inspired after the growing outdoor community and the thrill of summiting a mountain. You are reminded of this with the fantastic views of Mt. Rainer and the other rugged mountains in the Cascades.

There is something for everyone in the Seattle area. From high energy shows to intimate bars and everything in-between, your night out at any of these spots will be a memorable one. After a long night dancing, laughing, experiencing custom cocktails, or even bowling, you might even begin planning your next trip to the emerald city.
