The original recipe for these waffles came from a great friend, Jerry Buffa. I created this multi-grain version and serve it regularly at the inn because the texture is so great.
Mix together the egg yolks, milk and oil in a bowl
measure the dry ingredients together in another bowl
Whisk the liquids into the dry ingredients until just blended.
Beat the egg whites and stir in with a whisk.
Cook in a belgian waffle maker until golden brown. Top with fruit and serve with maple syrup.
